The reason why pop ups sometimes occur on generally well trusted sites; the webmaster approves a flash ad that doesn't have a pop up then the ad company change out the flash ad with a new pop up version, or the company a webmaster employees to check his ads just approves all and doesn't give a shit about the webmaster. both of these practices happen far too often! Sadly to run sites like these we need to pay for bandwidth and a shit load of it! I've been watching a lot of movies since I've not been able to do anything other than lie still, and they're really starting to piss me off, as is everything else; it's the 15 different studio logos at the start of the films that all seem to be animated and take about 30 seconds each. then the intro starts and over that it's still showing the same fucking company names, things like "20th century fox" in association with "canal" and all those other things. then the actual movie starts 7 minutes after you press play, that's if you're able to skip the fucking previews, goes for 1 hour 20 minutes then there's 13 minutes of credits, I don't give a flying fuck who supplied over paid actors their tea and coffee. I wanna know who their drug dealer is, erm, well that'd at least make the credits interesting. so you get a DVD case that says the movie's 100minutes, but when you break it down it's 7 minutes of studio ego stroking logos, 80 minutes of movie and 13 minutes of credits. I will admit that I know a lot of guys that worked on LORT, Matrix films, the 3 bad star wars films, Happy Feet and all those other ones that were filmed in Oz and NZ, and I cheered with them when their names came up in the credits. I just don't think it should be listed as part of the run time, and catering really really doesn't need to be mentioned! When it was all VHS and it cost extra to run those credits, a lot of crap was cut, but now DVD gives them the space it's just got ridiculous. I've been watching a lot of period films, you know Sci-Fi 10,000 years ago, or world war 1 & 2 films that sort of thing and it's pissing me off seeing the perfect teeth that actors have. It just makes the film seem even more fake than it is. Ultra white straight teeth on a 40 year old cave man really doesn't work. They should get Steve Buscemi in! |
