easyjet weren't any cheaper, but I won't every fly easyjet again after they broke a lot of my gear for www.heartbeatbabes.com and when i rang they just said "can you proove it?" I said "no" the guy told me to piss off! I started recording my calls to travel companies after that. the bastards!

I've just given up travelling in the UK unless I can do it by push bike.

The trains are shit, I totally agree. What about Ryanair? I'm using them to go to Germany on Thursday and that's only costing me 30 notes. Admittedly, the airports that they go from aren't always great. Especially when you get into Stanstead, which is in butt fuck nowhere.

I'm with you on the bike front though, it's my means of transport through London on a daily basis. Can't beat it. Does suck when it's raining though.

ryanair are good, flew with them to Dublin a few years back, sadly they don't fly Edinburgh to London. I'd have to train it through to prestwick and we all know how shit the trains are lol.

UK is great if you can 6 weeks+ notice to travel, but if you only have 24 hours to 3days they just suck you dry.

cycling gets me most places round here, it was so funny going to work on Saturday and Sunday. There were so many people out with bikes that hadn't been ridden in 15 years. I think it was due to the oil strike
